Part 3 of my current cabinetry build. in this video, i document how i built the pc unit. this was the hardest unit to build so far, but im extremely happy with the overall cabinet.

Great vid Davey, nice bit of work there again!! I was really interested to see you using the hand drill, thats something you dont see often! Do you mind me asking why you prefer this method over say a cordless drill set to a low speed? (I havent done all that much with chipboard so you’ll be teaching me something!

hi pete,
in all honesty, i dont even use a cordless to drive in the screws. everything i do is done by hand. apart from the festool gear, that is. hmmm, maybe thats why its taking so long to finish each episode ! lol.
anyways, the only real reason i can muster is the following :
hand drill = lighter , easier to drill straight holes with , makes me feel like an old pro, im just used to handtools i suppose and mdf or chipboard is fragile shit and a power tool will make bits of either
