Fairly unbelievable but it’s only in these recent times that anxiety disorders are increasing. When I say anxiety disorders you can group panic disorders & panic attacks and anxiety attacks together. They are all the same & can be regarded as one simple problem.

Is there a reason for the increase in people suffering these debilitating attacks? I’m sure there is and doctors and scientists can probably trot out a million different reasons. It doesn’t make them any less serious or worrying for the victim.

There are a lot of symptoms to these disorders & you might not even realise it but you might be suffering or on the verge of being a sufferer. We are never born with these disorder but they seem to strike suddenly & with great force. There are anxiety symptoms tests you can take to give yourself a clearer idea whether you might be a sufferer.

Usually a simple anxiety symptoms test will be series of check boxes that you either answer yes or no. At the end you can read the advice on how to interpret your score. After reading your score you can take the advice given and seek further help to fight back against these attacks.

Some of the questions in the anxiety symptoms test may seem quite simple or even silly. However, they are designed that way to form a complete picture. Ticking yes to one or two questions may not seem overly serious but it depends on which questions you have ticked.

Take one of the questions, “Do you seem to worry a lot”. Well, don’t we all worry a lot? But couple that with the question about a rapid heartbeat and shallowness of breath & you are looking at a high chance you are a victim. If you do think you might be having anxiety disorder symptoms then what harm can it do to take the test?

It could come as a relief to find out it’s anxiety attacks that have been bothering you for some time. There is help available if you find you are a sufferer. There are a few different systems to combat these disorders.

Even though a panic attack & an anxiety attack is the same thing, it doesn’t mean it isn’t terrifying all the same. I sat & watched as my wife was gripped by a panic attack while driving our car. It’s the understatement of a lifetime to say I was scared!

There’s a simple test you can take if you suspect you might be having anxiety attack symptoms. All you do is tick either yes or no on a series of questions. Then look at the notes at the end and it will let you know whether to seek further advice.

The test is basically a big list of possible anxiety symptoms. If you are having one or more of them then it may be in your interests to act fast. Trust me; you do not want to suffer an anxiety attack at an unsuitable moment.

If you do find you are having some of the panic disorder test symptoms then you can follow some of the links for more info on how to deal with, and stop them before they take hold. It’s possible to overcome them as my wife actually uses this technique to control her attacks. My wife saw dozens of shrinks and doctors before we uncovered this lifesaving technique.

One of the main symptoms of anxiety attacks is rapid heart beat and shortness of breath. Seemingly these symptoms start for no reason as well. Then they quickly move to an almost mortifying fear of dread.

The symptoms themselves can actually make the attack worse as you are now panicking about the panic attack. This makes it much worse and very difficult to get control. But, if you can identify the signs you can employ techniques to stop it in it’s tracks and carry on your day as if nothing ever happened.

Once you are confident enough to know and recognise your impending panic attack and are able to stop it dead. If you have confidence to recognise an attack you can improve your technique and assign your anxiety to the past.
