A Hello Kitty theme is a great idea for a birthday party for your little girl. It’s very simple and easy to have a Hello Kitty birthday party because there is a lot of Hello Kitty merchandise available. Want some help with organising a Hello Kitty birthday party? Let me give you a few tips.

At the top of your list of preparations is to let people know the date of the upcoming party. How much notice do we need to give people about the party? Four weeks notice is a good idea because people are so busy these days. There are various options here: Hello-Kitty invitations can be bought ready-made online. They can then be either posted or delivered by hand. Another alternative is to print invitations on your comoputer. Again, you can either hand-deliver or post them. A third alternative is to get creative and make your own invitations. A card in the shape of Hello Kitty’s red bow is one idea. You can put a Hello Kitty sticker in the middle of the bow. Little girls love glitter so you could add this to the invitation.

After sending the invitations, the next thing is to organise the decorations. You can buy foil Hello Kitty balloons online. Or if you keep your costs down, just get plain pink and white balloons. You’ll need party supplies like napkins, table covers and centrepieces. You can get these in the Hello Kitty brand as well as paper plates and cups if you need them. You can also buy Hello Kitty party hats and party bags to give to the kids when they arrive. Kids love having their faces painted – so why not get some face paints and put a cat’s face on each of them?

As far as food is concerned you could also give it a pink and white theme with sandwiches, pink iced cupcakes, a Hello Kitty birthday cake, pink popcorn and so on. You’ll need to have things to amuse the kids, once the birthday food is eaten. Fun games for them to play are always a winner. You can also get Hello Kitty coloring books.
