Come Halloween, many people will be looking for some fun, cool and creepy, adult halloween party games for their guests. Usually, when we think about Halloween, we start thinking first about kids in their costumes going out to ring doorbells for trick or treat. However, as time progresses, many adults are starting to engage in the festivities and activities of this ever-popular holiday.
I mean, we adults like to play too, right? I’ve got some creative ideas for adult Halloween games here on this site. As always, it is important to keep safety as a first consideration. You also need to take into account when your party will be held and if you are going to serve alcohol. Some games are best played before any alcohol is consumed. One of the first adult Halloween games that are growing in popularity is “Halloween Idol”. Kind of a spooky, creepy version of the TV show – “American Idol”. And you can judge them on many different things, choice of song, their costume, dancing, even originality….And when you come up with a winner, its time to hand out the prizes.
Next, you might want to try a homemade version of “Ghost Hunters” for your party guests. The excitement level will definitely increase for those partygoers who watch the show. You can just put this together in a spur of the moment haunted mansion, or get permission to use the cemetery. If you’ve got a “haunted” area in your neighborhood, maybe the owner will allow you to “ghost hunt” in there.
And that all time picnic favorite, tug of war, is also a pretty good Halloween game. Truthfully, its both guys and girls that really enjoy showing off how tough they are. You can do it the couple match way, or have the men on one side and the women on the other. You could have your guests form their own teams and them compete against each other to see who is the most powerful.
And if you want to give your party new legs, how about a little dancing contest? Many couples love to show off their dancing skills and this would give them the perfect opportunity. When you include these ideas in your Halloween party you will have something for everyone to enjoy.
