One of the best ways to stay organized for a wedding photo shoot is a timeline.  A timeline will help you be prepared for all the shots.  Not only will you be prepared but you can be ready to capture great moments.  So with that in mind here are key points to remember for the wedding.

First thing a photographer must do is to know and consult the family when they would like to pose for the family portrait.  As a San Diego wedding photographer I see that the timing of this is different for every wedding.Some people would like to pose for pictures before the wedding.This will give them more time to do things during and after the wedding.Others prefer to do it during the wedding.You would perform better because you are more prepared if you just determine when the family would like to take the pictures.

Next, you should determine the exact starting time of the wedding itself.This would let you prepare for shots of the guests that are arriving.  As a San Diego photographer this is a great time to capture candid shots of your guests.  You will also be able to get everything ready for the big ceremony.

Finally you will want to know what time the reception is.This is important since you will know how much time you have left.In other words, you would know how much more shots you can take in the church or wherever the wedding is held before heading to the reception.  Doing wedding as a San Diego event photography allows me to coordinate this big event to run smoothly.  The last thing you want is everything being disorganized.

Those are some of the most important time periods in a wedding day timeline.It should help you during a wedding photo shoot.  A wedding day is some of the most frantic moments ever.It can put a lot of pressure for all those that are involved in the event.You would not want to be one of them as the wedding photographer.  You want to be relaxed so you can do the best job possible.
