Buying Facial Hair Removal Products
Facial hair is, on some level, a problem for everyone. It is a bigger deal for some than others though. You have at least one errant hair, though, no matter who you are. That is just a part of life.
But it you are like me, then plucking drives you insane. Sometimes I cannot see the mirror for the tears in my eyes! However, facial hair creams scare me. All I got in high school from using them was a red blister on my upper lip. Frankly I would have preferred a girlstache to that…
Luckily hair creams have come a long way since high school. They used to smell awful and be full of harsh chemicals. Now most of them smell like a delightful aromatherapy treatment. Of course, you still need to be careful.
Get the best possible results from your facial hair removal by following these tips:
1. Always test first. Before you put any cream on your face, try a little on your wrist. If you feel a burning feeling on your skin or you get a rash then you will know that you should not use it on your face. A small dab should be enough to test with.
2. Look for herbal ingredients. You just plain need chemicals to melt hair away. However, herbal extracts will help your skin recover from this attack. Facial hair removal will go more smoothly if the product has a heavy moisturizer and natural ingredients.
3. Go for the fragrance. You probably clearly remember the stench of that stinky cream that people used to remove leg hair. The strong smell was caused by harsh chemicals. Now you can eliminate the odor with a new fragrance. Many people need the scent to avoid allergic reactions to the chemical smells. Unless you cannot handle any artificial fragrance at all, your nose will thank you for the improved aroma.
4. Do not do your entire face at once. Take it slow with putting the cream on your face. Begin with the eyebrow area. It is not nearly as sensitive as the upper lip area. If your brows go without a hitch, then you can move on to the lip or chin areas.
