Americans live much longer in this day and age.With all the breakthroughs in medicine people are able to live longer lives.With more people living longer and longer, the need for caring for the elderly becomes bigger.

It used to be that when the care of a senior was needed the use of a nursing home would be required.But with seniors being healthier using a nursing home wasn’t a good option.  So what has emerged is having senior care at home.  I have seen this explosion in home health care through my home health care San Diego company.

A few of the reasons for all these seniors staying home are a lot.Most seniors still have the desire to be independant.When they are put into a nursing home, they end up losing that independance.
