Cast includes Ali Larter, Salman Khan, Nandana Sen, Ian Bohen, Helen Khan, Suchitra Pillai, and Shari Watson.  (112 minutes, 2007)

Defiance: Abrasive little film in reference to rootless blue-collar hermit Vincent, who tries to match up his dying kid’s bone marrow on his own. He then tames a ferocious N.Y.C. road gang. Cast includes Jan-Michael Vincent, Craft Camey, Theresa Saldana, and Danny Aiello. (102 minutes, 1980)

Lightning the White Stallion: Incredibly weak family fare with Rooney a prosperous guy whose racehorse is stolen. Cast includes Mickey Rooney, Isabel Lorea, Susan George, and Billy Wesley. (95 minutes, 1986)

Hold Back Tomorrow: This is another of Haas’ oddball cheaply made dramas. This one is about a condemned killer who weds a gal on the day before he is put to death. Cast includes Cleo Moore, John Agar, Frank de Kova, Harry Guardino, and Jan Englund.  (75 minutes, 1955)

A Southern Yankee: Comical Skelton comedy set throughout Civil War with Cherry a bumbling Yankee agent down South. Comparable to silent flim comedies as Buster Keaton concocted numerous of the film’s gags. Cast includes Red Skelton, Brian Donlevy, Arlene Dahl, George Coulouris, Lloyd Gough, John Ireland, Charles Dingle, and Joyce Compton.  (90 minutes, 1948)

Pale Rider: Eastwood Western starts out just fine, the legend of a gun slinger going to the help of some battling miners, however ends up draggy, conceited, and unexciting with so much cloning of Shabe as to be preposterous. Well created, although tries to be allegorical materialize off as absurd. Cast includes Clint Eastwood, Michael Moriarty, Carrie Snodgress, Christopher Penn, Richard Dysart, Sydney Dime, Richard Kiel, Doug McGrath, and John Russell.  (113 minutes, 1985)

Day Watch: Weak, perplexing, and endless continuation to Night Watch in which the powers of the “light” and the “dark” are at it once more. After being framed, Anton (Khabensky) tries to spare himself and his child from wicked powers in post-apocalyptic Russia. Cast includes Konstantin Khabensky, Mariya poroshina, Vladimir Menshov, Galina Tyunina, and Viktor Verzhbitsky. (132 minutes, 2006)

Spice World: A fantasy view of a few nights in the lives of the pop phenomenon The Flavor Gals and their presence with road agent Grant. Cameos by Elton John, Bob Hoskins, Bob Geldof, Elvis Costello, The Fantasy Boys, Jonathan Ross, and Jennifer Saunders. Cast includes The Flavor Gals (Mel B, Emma, Mel C, Geri, and Victoria), Richard E. Grant, Roger Moore, George Wendt, Claire Rushbrook, Mark McKinney, Richard O’Brien, Barry Humphries, Jason Flemyng, Naoki Mari, Meat Loaf, Bill Paterson, Jools Holland, Stephen Roast, and Richard Briers.  (92 minutes, 1997)
