The life of most businesses are leads. If your business is selling a product or service, you need people who are interested to follow up with.Well one place that generating leads are not truly taken advantage of are at trade shows.I say it isn’t used right because a lot of businesses hope to make the sales at the trade show.Sure you have the ability to get some sales at the trade shows, but if you really want to see a boost in sales, focus on getting leads first.Because quite a few people at the trade show just want to look.  They aren’t prepared to buy but if you get their information you can follow up with them.

So if you are going to use trade shows the right way and use them to generate leads you need a great portable trade show display setup.I mention you have to have a good setup because you need to have something that will attract the crowd’s attention. To say it another way if the people at the trade show pass your booth by and they don’t like it, they won’t stop.So make certain that the booth you set up is professional and attractive.

The next thing you want to do is have retractable banners. So then you can have your logo or nice image that you set up so it gets more attention to your booth.  The booth is nice but a good banner can enhance the look and get people to come over.

Finally once you get them over to your tradeshow booth instead of concentrating on the sale concentrate on the first step.To put it another way you don’t run first, you always have to learn to walk.  Think of getting their information as the first step. You will definitely make more sales using this mindset.Let me ask you, what is easier, getting the sale or getting their information?Their contact information will be easier to get, so you will have a lot of them to follow up on.  And as mentioned leads are the lifeblood of most businesses.
